Krystal Rodriguez
Krystal Rodriguez was born in Stockton, Ca. She remembers most of her childhood was about volleyball. By the age of 4 she earned how to hit a ball against her house, courtesy of her Aunt. She was the reason Krystal’s passion started at such a young age and her love of volleyball began! Krystal played club volleyball for 10 years beginning at the age of 8. Her entire club career was played at Impact Volleyball Club of Escalon.
While playing for her high school, Krystal was honored as a continuing scholar athlete. She was selected as MVP for offense and defense multiple times for both volleyball and soccer along with receiving the coaches’ award. Krystal was selected to all league team her senior year for volleyball. She also successfully made section playoffs in track for discus twice. During her volleyball years, Krystal was a captain on each team she played on and helped lead her teams to championships and titles. After high school, Krystal had several collegiate playing opportunities but chose to stay close to home and played at San Joaquin Delta College. Krystal started coaching in 2011 at Escalon High and went straight into coaching club, starting with head coach for Valley Heat 15's. She has been coaching each season since then. Krystal’s teams from both club and high school have all been successful in ether their league or tournament, winning multiple championships. Krystal is now a wife to her high school sweet heart and mom of three girls age ranging from 11-3, who are now all active in sports, following some great footsteps. Coaching and working with young players is something Krystal is very passionate about and she is very happy to be a part of a club that shares in her interests and heart of the game while focusing on training and developing skills in these young athletes.
