Christine Toon

 

      Christine Toon comes to PCVC with many successful years of playing and coaching experience. While playing at Delta College they won the conference both years. In her second year they won Northern California, and took 2nd in the state.  Following her success at San Joaquin Delta College, Christine received a full-ride to play at University of Nevada, Reno. In her last year of playing; her team went on to play in the final four! 

 

      Christine has spent the last 20 plus years trying to build successful volleyball programs in the Tracy area.  She started the Valley Rebels to help build the West High School program. While managing and coaching Chris has worked with many of the girls that have never touched volleyball. She is passionate about helping build these players skills on the court and helping them develop confidence on and off the court.  For the last couple of years she has had 7 teams and over 70 players.  She spends time focusing on the basics and is excited when she sees many of these players go on to play many after having their start as a Rebel.  Several of the clubs players play for all 4 of the Tracy High schools, Manteca, and some went on to play for Delta College.
